Sunny Lambe and Community Development Project and Initiative Examples

 

CAP UK (Confederation of African People UK) – a networking organization promoting co-operation, networking and partnership working among African professionals, groups and individuals in the Diaspora, founded in October 1998.

BBI (Black Business Initiative) - a social enterprise support agency founded in June 2001 to promote, sustain and reward entrepreneurship among Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities in the UK.

PSS (Peckham Supplementary School)- a youth project investing in the physical, mental and physiological development of children and young people, founded in April 2001, which was officially launched by the Right Honorable Harriet Harman QC MP.

SBHO (Southwark Black Heritage Organisation)- Promoting and celebrating black people’s cultural heritage (Black History Month) within a spirit of togetherness, founded in 2002.

BBA (Black Business Awards)- An annual enterprise award dinner and dance event to promote and reward enterprise culture in the Black and Ethnic Minority communities, founded in October 2004.

Ethno News- An ethno-centric magazine to inform, promote and educate the general public on the positive contributions Black and Minority Ethnic communities founded in May 2005.

SYEP (Southwark Youth Enterprise Project) - A youth enterprise initiative aimed at and supporting young adults ages 16 and 30 with an entrepreneurial flair founded in August 2007

SLYEG (Sunny Lambe Youth Enterprise Game) - A youth enterprise simulation initiative launched by Sunny Lambe in 2007 to promote self-economic empowerment among young adults ages 16 and 30.

SEF (Southwark Enterprise Forum)- A networking and advocacy association for Ethnic Minority professionals, businesses and social enterprises, founded in 2005.

Community Involvement- An active Involvement and participation in numerous community initiatives such as Southwark Alliance Enterprise/Local Economic Partnership Board (deputy chair), school governing bodies, church council, and many other voluntary professional contributions.

Events/Socialites- Through his works, Sunny has been privileged to have met some important individuals from all works of life!
